Trav Hair

Trav Hair

Trav has worked in ag for 20 years. He’s part of the agronomy team as well as managing the procurement of fertiliser, ag chem and finance facilities, making sure clients get the right chemical at the right price, and avoiding shortages. Trav works closely with research and development companies at the Crop Opti trial site, bringing new products to market and keeping everyone up to date with new products. As well as looking after his own agronomy clients, Trav also works with machinery companies to help growers utilize their machinery purchases to enable them to achieve better results through the technology these machines provide.

Matt Beddison

Matt Beddison

Matt has 13 years of agronomy experience, seven with Crop Opti. His knowledge of precision ag is built on the experience of running his own farm at Pimpinio. Matt leads a growing program of variable rate applications of fertiliser and chemical spray maps, zonal testing, data management and machinery set-ups. A commitment to seeder set-up and getting plants sown correctly to achieve better germination, as well as chemical safety for emerging crops has gained Matt a comprehensive list of clients dealing with both disc and tyne machines. He’s able to discuss the benefits of each to growers looking to convert systems to what suits their operations best.
